We won’t accept system ‘Glitch’ stories in 2027 – Bode George Warns INEC
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Bode George, has cautioned the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Amupitan, against any claims of system “glitches” during the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on Monday as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, George emphasized that Nigerians will not accept excuses similar to those cited in the 2023 elections.
“Remember the last election when necessary tools were procured? They claimed there was a glitch. Let’s ensure that does not happen again. Mr. Amupitan, there should be no glitch in this system,” he asserted, urging the new INEC leadership to maintain transparency and credibility in the electoral process.
