Northern Governors Condole with Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Over Mother’s demise

The Northern States Governors’ Forum has expressed condolences to Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Baribari, who died at the age of 93.

In a statement issued on Sunday by Isma’ila Uba Misili, media aide to the Forum’s chairman and Governor of Gombe State, Inuwa Yahaya, the governors described the late Hajiya Safara’u as an upright and devoted mother who played a pivotal role in her family and community.

“Hajiya Safara’u lived a fulfilled life, marked by her deep devotion to Allah and her unwavering commitment to humanity,” the statement read.

Governor Yahaya noted that while her passing is a great loss, particularly for her children, grandchildren, and the leaders who relied on her wisdom and guidance, her legacy of integrity and service will continue to be cherished.

He urged Governor Radda and his family to take solace in the exemplary life she led and to uphold the values of good character and selflessness that she instilled.
