Hotel Guest Allegedly Murdered in Delta State
A tragic incident has been reported in Warri, Delta State, where a hotel guest was allegedly murdered on Arubayi Street. The victim, identified simply as Kome, had checked into the hotel earlier in the week but was reportedly killed on Wednesday.
According to local sources, hotel staff allegedly attempted to dispose of the body by throwing it over the fence. However, their actions were noticed by vigilant neighbors who immediately raised the alarm. Police officers were called to the scene, where they reportedly found several personal belongings of the deceased within the hotel premises.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has yet to comment on the incident.
This comes just a week after a similar case in the Ite Soko area of the state, where another hotel guest was found dead. That establishment was subsequently sealed off by the government and security agents.
