Chelsea Appoint Liam Rosenior as New Head Coach
Premier League club Chelsea on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of Liam Rosenior as their new head coach, succeeding Enzo Maresca. The 41-year-old Englishman, formerly manager of Strasbourg, has signed a contract running until 2032.
In a statement, Rosenior expressed his gratitude, saying he was “extremely humbled and honoured to be appointed.” He added, “This is a club with a unique spirit and a proud history of winning trophies. My job is to protect that identity and create a team that reflects these values in every game we play as we continue winning trophies.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Rosenior described the Chelsea role as “an opportunity I cannot turn down,” underscoring his excitement at leading the club. He takes over with Chelsea currently sitting fifth in the Premier League standings.
