Brace up, Prepare for Challenges – Umahi tells Work Ministry Staff
Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, has called on all staff of the Federal Ministry of Works to prepare for the challenges that 2026 may bring, urging them to approach the year with optimism, resilience, and teamwork.
In a New Year message delivered yesterday, Umahi emphasized that challenges should be viewed as opportunities for personal and professional growth.
“As we step into this new year, I encourage everyone in the Ministry to face the year’s challenges with courage and collaboration,” he said. “May 2026 bring hope, strength, and unwavering faith to each of you, guiding your efforts and inspiring excellence in your work.”
He added that the new year presents a chance for fresh beginnings, highlighting the potential for growth in individual vocations and collective productivity. “Challenges are inevitable, but they are also catalysts for growth. They push us beyond our comfort zones, enabling the development of new skills, perspectives, and strengths. By embracing them, you can achieve higher levels of performance and personal transformation,” Umahi stated.
The minister’s message underscores his vision for a Ministry committed to innovation, efficiency, and continual improvement as staff tackle the opportunities and hurdles of 2026.
