AFCON: Two Super Eagles Players Make Top Five Players List

Two Super Eagles stars, Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze, have been ranked among the top five performers at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco following the conclusion of the group-stage matches.

Football statistics platform WhoScored reveals that Lookman leads the player ratings with an outstanding 8.36, placing him ahead of Algeria captain Riyad Mahrez, who has 8.02. Samuel Chukwueze ranks third with a 7.92 rating, followed by Egypt captain Mohamed Salah at 7.85. Manchester United forward Amad Diallo completes the top five with a rating of 7.73.

Both Lookman and Chukwueze have made significant contributions for Nigeria, recording goals and assists that have helped the Super Eagles advance in the tournament.
