Resident Doctors Suspend Planned January 12 Strike

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has called off its strike earlier scheduled to commence on January 12.

The decision was announced on Sunday in a statement issued by the association’s Secretary-General, Shuaibu Ibrahim.

NARD had previously declared the industrial action after its emergency National Executive Council meeting held on January 2, citing unresolved demands and grievances with the Federal Government.
