The Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG), Benibo Anabraba, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Anabraba communicated his decision in a letter dated January 5, 2026, addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ward 1 in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area. In the correspondence, he described the resignation as a personal decision, while expressing appreciation for the political opportunities and support he received during his time with the party.
