NDLEA Seizes 347kg of Cannabis, Uncovers Warehouse in Ogun
The Ogun State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered a warehouse used for storing illegal substances and recovered 347 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa concealed inside a Honda Ridgeline pickup vehicle in the Rounder area of Abeokuta.

According to Haris Musa, the command’s Public Relations Officer, the operation took place around 10:00 pm on Sunday, December 28, 2025, following actionable intelligence received by operatives. The raid also led to the arrest of a 49-year-old suspect, identified as Fatokun Rahmon.

“Acting on actionable intelligence, operatives of the command conducted a targeted operation at Rounder, Abeokuta, where a warehouse used for the storage of illicit substances was uncovered. During the operation, 347 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa were recovered, concealed inside a Honda Ridgeline pickup vehicle, and one suspect, Fatokun Rahmon, aged 49, was arrested,” Musa stated.
He emphasized that the seizure underscores the command’s intelligence-driven strategy, operational vigilance, and commitment to combating drug trafficking across Ogun State. Musa further reiterated that the NDLEA remains resolute in sustaining these efforts to curb the menace of drug abuse and illicit substance trafficking, even as the year draws to a close.
