The Federal Government has postponed the commencement date for the ongoing recruitment into four major paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.
In a statement released Wednesday night, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced that the recruitment exercise, which was earlier scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 26, 2025, will now commence on Monday, July 14, 2025.
According to the Board, the recruitment portal recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, will be officially opened to the public on the new date. Interested applicants are urged to apply through this portal only. The Board also emphasized that the application process is completely free and warned the public not to pay anyone for the recruitment.
The CDCFIB urged applicants to ignore any conflicting information circulating online and stick to the official date and portal. It also apologized for any inconvenience caused by the change and thanked the public for their patience and understanding.
Earlier this week, the Board had announced the opening of recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
