Governor Adeleke Commissions 1,150 Amotekun Cadets in Osun
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has officially commissioned 1,150 newly inducted Amotekun cadets, emphasizing the need for integrity and discipline in their security duties.
Speaking at the Passing-out Parade (POP) held at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ede, the governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing security across the state. He highlighted ongoing reforms in the corps, including leadership restructuring, personnel expansion, and improved training in law enforcement.
Adeleke also assured that Amotekun would benefit from the planned State Security Trust Fund, providing logistical support, vehicles, and other operational resources. He urged the new recruits to remain dedicated to crime-fighting and uphold the highest ethical standards.
