Shawwal Moon Sighted, 30th March Declared Eid-el-Fitr Celebration

The crescent moon marking the beginning of Shawwal has been sighted, bringing the holy month of Ramadan to an end.
With the sighting of the moon on Saturday, March 29, 2025, Muslims around the world will now prepare to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the festival that signifies the completion of a month-long fasting period.
Ramadan, one of the five pillars of Islam, is observed by Muslims as a time of spiritual purification, devotion, and charitable acts.
Saudi Arabia, which relies on more than 10 astronomical observatories to confirm the lunar calendar, announced that Sunday, March 30, will be the first day of Eid-el-Fitr in the country.
