Buhari, Akpabio, Ajuri, and Nigerians Celebrate Tinubu at 73

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has reaffirmed his strong bond with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the nation joins in celebrating the President’s 73rd birthday.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, on Saturday, March 29, Buhari extended his heartfelt birthday wishes, praying for Tinubu’s long life, good health, and the continued success of his administration.
The former President expressed his gratitude for Tinubu’s contributions to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and acknowledged his role in shaping Nigeria’s political landscape.
“When we pray for our leaders, we are praying for ourselves and the nation. We owe this to ourselves and the country,” Buhari stated.
He also praised Tinubu’s legacy as a political strategist, entrepreneur, and advocate for democratic principles, emphasizing his pride in their long-standing association.
Senate President Akpabio Hails Tinubu’s Leadership
Senate President Godswill Akpabio also congratulated Tinubu, describing his leadership and vision as a source of inspiration for the nation.
In a statement personally signed by him, Akpabio lauded Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress and governance.
“Your Excellency, on behalf of my family, my constituents, the Senate, and the entire National Assembly, I wish you a happy 73rd birthday,” Akpabio stated.
He highlighted Tinubu’s political journey, emphasizing his courage in tackling authoritarian regimes and his efforts in implementing bold economic reforms.
“With you at the helm, Nigeria is in safe hands. I pray that Almighty Allah grants you continued wisdom, strength, and good health to steer our nation toward greater heights,” he added.

Presidential aide Ajuri Ngelale also joined in the celebration, referring to Tinubu as a mentor and father figure.
Reflecting on his experiences with the President, Ngelale described Tinubu as a leader who stands by his allies during challenging times and remains a source of wisdom and guidance.
“The Last Man Standing is not just a political title but a testament to his resilience, strategic thinking, and unwavering support for those he believes in,” Ngelale stated.
He expressed gratitude for Tinubu’s mentorship and prayed for his continued strength and wisdom to lead Nigeria to greater heights.
