Popular Nigerian influencer and crossdresser Bobrisky has been detained by Nigerian immigration officers upon her return to the country. Announcing the development on Instagram, Bobrisky expressed confusion over the reason for her detention, stating, “Guys, I’ve just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o.”

Her arrest comes after a recent trip to the UK, where she faced multiple legal challenges, including investigations by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a widely publicized conflict with online critic VeryDarkMan. This latest incident adds to a history of legal troubles for the controversial personality.

In April 2024, Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse after being convicted of mutilating and spraying the Nigerian currency at public events. Later that year, reports surfaced that she was detained at the Seme Border while attempting to leave Nigeria, with immigration authorities designating her as a “person of interest.”

The circumstances surrounding her current detention remain unclear, and Nigerian authorities have yet to release an official statement on the matter. Fans and critics alike are awaiting further updates on the situation.
