I’ll Expose Evidence of Public Funds Theft Under Fubara – Ex-Rivers HoS

Former Head of the Rivers State Civil Service, George Nwaeke, has alleged massive misappropriation of public funds under the administration of suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara. He stated that he would present evidence to security agencies when required.
Speaking at a press briefing on Saturday, Nwaeke described the alleged theft of public funds and assets in the last two years as unprecedented. He noted that while he could not disclose all details publicly due to their sensitive nature, he would provide them to the appropriate authorities.
Nwaeke also reiterated his previous claim that Fubara directed his Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie, to set fire to the Rivers State House of Assembly. According to him, he witnessed a bag of money being handed over to Ehie for the operation, although he was unaware of the exact amount.
Governor Fubara has since dismissed the allegations, stating that Nwaeke had been compromised and coerced into making false claims against him.
