Easytech Partners with Chinese Firm to Produce Affordable Tricycles

In a move to enhance transportation for agricultural and commercial goods across Nigeria, Easytech Integrated Services Limited has partnered with Guangzhou Dayun Motorcycle Co. Ltd., a leading Chinese manufacturer, to mass-produce low-cost, high-quality tricycles.

According to a statement by Oyigu Elijah in Lokoja, the collaboration aims to address transportation challenges, particularly in rural areas, by producing tricycles designed for carrying goods efficiently.

Speaking at a meeting with partners, Easytech’s Managing Director, Alhaji Abdulsalam Iyaji, a retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, emphasized the importance of affordable transportation to economic growth. He noted that the new tricycles will be durable, fuel-efficient, and capable of handling heavy-duty transportation needs.

“We are committed to solving transportation problems, especially for small businesses and rural farmers,” Iyaji said. “Our partnership with Dayun is based on their reputation for producing reliable and efficient products.”

The initiative also includes plans to introduce electric and compressed natural gas (CNG) tricycles to reduce fuel dependence and promote sustainable transportation solutions.

Ms. Heidi, Sales Manager for Guangzhou Dayun Motorcycle Co. Ltd., expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it would strengthen the company’s presence in Nigeria and contribute to economic development.

The collaboration was officially announced in the presence of top executives from both companies, including Dayun’s technical officer, Mr. Niu, and Easytech’s Sales Director, Mr. Suleiman Iyaji.
