Jigawa To Commence Airlift Of Pilgrims Aug 17

The airlift of 2017 intended pilgrims from Jigawa State will commence on 17th August, 2017.
The executive secretary of the board,Alhaji Sani Alhassan Muhammad disclosed this while speaking to journalist in Dutse.
He explained that out of total 2,677 hajj seat allocated to Jigawa State this year by the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON),2,000 pilgrims will be airlifted by Max Air while the remaining will be airlifted by Azman company.
According to him, as at yesterday about one thousand four hundreds and twelve intending pilgrims have already completed their payment and so far over seven hundreds visa is ready.
Alhaji Sani added that though the screening for pregnant women and other sickness is still ongoing but, so far over 1,400 pilgrims are ready for the flight.
The executive secretary maintained that the state government has spent over three hundred and sixty seven million naira for this year’s hajj exercise arrangement.
Alhassan commended Jigawa State governor, Abubakar Badaru for his support to the board and to ensure a successful 2017 hajj exercise.
He also urged the intending pilgrim to remain law abiding citizens and pray for the health of President Muhammad Buhari and Nigeria at large.
