Fidau prayer holds for Aregbesola’s mother in Osun

Osogbo—National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday, led other prominent Nigerians and politicians to the special Fidau Prayer for the late mother of the Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, in Ilesa.
Late Alhaja Aregbesola died on Tuesday in Ilesa at the age of 84.
Other prominent Nigerians at the prayer include former governors of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola. Senators Musiliu Obanikoro and Ganiyu Solomon were also there..
In his sermon, Mufashir of Osogboland, Alhaji Maroof Ishola, urged all to live impactful life, bearing in mind, that end could come any moment.
He said the late Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, despite enjoying immense blessings of God, served Allah with all she had and instilled discipline in her children.
He added the late Alhaja Aregbesola would forever be remembered as a community leader, successful business woman and ultimately, a good Muslim and enjoined her children never to depart from the way laid before them.
Prayers were offered by Islamic clerics for the repose of the soul of the departed.
